Tuesday 8 October 2024 (Geneva, Switzerland) — The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) is pleased to announce the election of Dr Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu as President-elect for the 2024-2026 term and a new Board of Directors with 14 members, following the UICC General Assembly held virtually on 8 October 2024.

At today’s General Assembly, held virtually for the first time, Professor Anil D’Cruz from India was welcomed as the new President of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). Full member organisations also elected the 2020-2022 Board of Directors, including the President-elect, Professor Jeff Dunn AO of Australia.
