General Assembly 2022

During the meeting of the General Assembly, member organisations were presented with a business performance overview, a review of the past two years since the last Assembly, and insight into the future plans and ambitions for UICC.

All members of UICC were invited to attend the event. Full member organisations had the right to vote on the following:

• Approval of the 2020 General Assembly minutes
• Approval of the 2020 and 2021 financial accounts
• Election of the 2022-2024 President-elect
• Election of the 2022-2024 Board of Directors

The winners of the Best CEO and the Best World Cancer Day Campaign Awards were also announced on the day of the General Assembly.

General Assembly 2020

During the meeting of the General Assembly, which took place virtually on 6 October 2020, member organisations were presented with a business performance overview, a review of the past two years since the last Assembly, and insight into the future plans and ambitions for UICC.

• Approval of the 2018 General Assembly minutes
• Approval of the 2018 and 2019 financial accounts
• Election of the 2020-2022 President-elect
• Election of the 2020-2022 Board of Directors

General Assembly 2018

The General Assembly took place on 2 October 2018 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in conjunction with the 2018 World Cancer Congress. The event was a great opportunity for members to network, receive updates and provide input on UICC’s work.

All members of UICC were invited to attend the event. Full member organisations had the right to vote on the following:

• Approval of the 2016 General Assembly minutes
• Approval of the 2017 and 2018 financial accounts
• 2018-2020 President-elect
• 2018-2020 Board of Directors

UICC Awards

For the first time, the UICC Awards  ceremony took place at the General Assembly to recognise the outstanding achievements and innovative pratices from across the UICC membership. Awards were given for the following categories:

• The Advocacy with Impact Award
• The Fundraising Award
• The CEO Award
• World Cancer Day Spirit Award
• The Collaboration Award

General Assembly 2016

The General Assembly 2016 was held in Paris, France on 1 November 2016.

All UICC members were invited to attend the General Assembly. It was an opportunity for members to network, receive updates and provide input on UICC’s work. Full member organisations voted on the following:

• Approval of the 2014 and 2015 financial accounts
• Proposed changes to the Constitution
• 2016-2018 President-Elect
• 2016-2018 Board of Directors
