UICC events
Connecting the global cancer control community through our keystone events.
UICC unites cancer professionals and policy makers in premier events like the World Cancer Congress, World Cancer Leaders’ Summit and Cancer Planners Forum, and raises awareness and catalyses personal, collective and government action through World Cancer Day.
World Cancer Day is the one singular initiative under which the entire world can unite together in the fight against the global cancer epidemic. It takes place every year on 4 February.
A biennial event, the World Cancer Congress serves as a platform for discourse and advocacy as well as a learning and sharing opportunity for our members and partners around the world.
The World Cancer Leaders’ Summit is a major biennial high-level policy meeting dedicated exclusively to furthering global cancer control.
The Cancer Planners Forum is a global gathering dedicated to individuals responsible for developing and implementing National Cancer Control Plans (NCCPs).

Quotes from participants
"It was a wonderful experience for us (staff and students at CPUT) and we have learnt a lot about how to offer such activities in the future. We received very positive feedback and the activities were a success in many aspects...You will see that we used the World Cancer Day materials - sincere thanks for that.”
