International Cancer Control Partnership (ICCP)
The International Cancer Control Partnership (ICCP), formed in November 2012, is a group of organisations engaged in supporting country cancer control planning efforts.

Through the ICCP, these organisations, including the WHO, CDC, NCI-USA, and UICC, are committed to working together to ensure that all countries have a well-resourced, quality cancer control plan, integrated with non-communicable disease control efforts.
The ICCP Portal
The ICCP Portal is a one-stop shop for cancer prevention and control planning. It hosts topic-specific networks across the cancer care continuum that identifies best practices, key resources and gaps in those fields.
Why the ICCP Portal?
“The members of the United Nations committed themselves to a set of measures within four priority areas – governance, prevention, health care, and surveillance and monitoring. These time-bound measures include setting national NCD targets consistent with global targets, developing national NCD multisectoral plans by 2015, and starting implementation of those plans by 2016, in order to achieve the national targets.” (Source: Global Status Report on NCDs 2014)
Taking part in global efforts to reach the reduction of one-third of premature deaths due to NCDs (in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goal 3.4), the International Cancer Control Partnership (ICCP) is a unique initiative that addresses the need for the cancer control community to invest its efforts in the development and implementation of National Cancer Control Plans (NCCPs) as described in the Global Status Report in 2014.

What does the ICCP Portal offer?
- Selected resources on cancer control like toolkits, multimedia campaigns or background data. The library of resources provides access to materials and tools on cancer control planning and capacity-building at local, national and regional levels,
- Best practices and experience: Take the opportunity to learn from one another. The ICCP Portal presents case studies on experiences in the field of cancer control.
- National cancer plans: More than 190 published national cancer plans from 82 countries are available on our interactive map in multiple languages. The ICCP Map also features 123 National NCD Plans and Strategies from 99 countries. Thanks to a search engine, you can perform a search within all published plans on a specific topic or area along the cancer care continuum.
- News and Events: Find at a glance all the most important upcoming events related to cancer control presented by the ICCP – calendar of events.
- Technical assistance opportunities: The Portal provides opportunities to access technical assistance from partners and places you in contact with key stakeholders. The Portal also showcases global initiatives on cancer control by helping you access the right support to build your next steps towards global commitments on NCDs and cancer control.
