C2C4C Bristol Myers Squibb rides

Riders push beyond limits to honour those affected by cancer and raise vital funds that bring hope.

The annual cycling events organised by UICC partner Bristol Myers Squibb’s, known as ‘C2C4C’, support cancer-focused non-profit organisations, including selected UICC members. Participants raise funds for cancer research to help reduce the global cancer burden and improve the lives of people living with cancer.

C2C4C – short for Country 2 Country 4 Cancer in Europe and Continent 2 Continent 4 Cancer in Japan and Latin America – brings together employees from across these regions to ride in solidarity with those affected by cancer. This year, for the first time, the Japan ride will also support UICC members in the Asia-Pacific region.

Since its launch in the United States in 2014, C2C4C has raised more than USD 19 million worldwide.

Quotes

“As the C2C4C initiative enters a new chapter with its expansion into Asia, we are reminded of the global spirit that drives these events. The energy and dedication of the participants embody the kind of collaboration and shared purpose that are essential to advancing people-centred cancer care. On behalf of UICC’s members, I thank Bristol Myers Squibb and all riders for their unwavering commitment and continued partnership in this shared mission.”
"The Continent 2 Continent 4 Cancer ride will celebrate its fourth consecutive year in Latin America in 2025 with a focus on advancing cancer research and the experience of patients and their caregivers. Every year, this is a moment that draws our teams together with a singular focus and elevates the passion that we have to celebrate our commitment to patients. I am personally committed to this ride and look forward to my sixth time as a rider, this time joining the Latin Americas team! The motivation to participate for each of our 45 Bristol Myers Squibb team members is personal and as we kick off this life changing experience in support of the Union for International Cancer Control as our partner and beneficiary, I am inspired by our commitment to do more for those impacted by cancer worldwide.”
