Hygiene and safety measures

UICC is dedicated to creating a safe and healthy environment for all attendees at the Summit. The organisation is fully committed to adhering to all regulations and guidelines set forth by U.S. authorities in relation to large gatherings.

UICC strongly advises any participants who are feeling unwell to wear a mask or stay home to protect their fellow colleagues and help prevent the spread of diseases during the Summit. If you feel any COVID symptoms, we encourage you to get tested before participating in the event; if the test is proven positive, and aligned with the US Health and Safety guidelines, we encourage you to remain at your hotel and wear masks to protect others. Should you need help to find antigen tests and masks, please contact the helpdesk.

Masks are available upon request for those in need. Additionally, there will be disinfection stations positioned throughout the venue, and disinfection teams will regularly clean surfaces during the event.

UICC aims to minimize the event's detrimental effect on the environment by employing various strategies. We urge all attendees to fly conscientiously and contribute to a programme that offsets carbon emissions.
