Partners
UICC has a long history of uniting with partners to reduce the global cancer burden.

The need for urgent action on cancer control has never been greater. There were an estimated 20 million cancer cases in 2022, with an projected rise to 35 million cases – a 77% increase – by 2050, in part due to population growth and ageing, as well as modifiable risk factors. The increase is expected to occur in countries least equipped to deal with the increase, further exacerbating issues of equity in accessing quality prevention, treatment, and care services.
Leading a community of over 1,150 members in more than 170 countries and territories, UICC has a long history of uniting with partners to secure global and national commitments, reduce the global cancer burden, and ensure equitable access to cancer services for everyone.
UICC members work tirelessly to advocate for cancer patients and to close the cancer care gap. Supporting members is key to UICC’s mission, and UICC partners help the organisation deliver a world-class service to all its members, compounding their voice, influence and impact.
UICC partners have a unique opportunity to be part of this global network and have opportunities to meet and engage with key opinion leaders from across the cancer community. UICC strives for long-term, strategic partnerships that meet the objectives of both UICC and its partners, and ultimately contribute to UICC’s mission.
