Russian guidelines for breast cancer treatment discussed

"Equal Right to Life" convenes health experts meeting in Geneva.

On 9 October, “Equal Right to Life” (UICC member organisation) convened a meeting of the Association of Oncologists of Russia Expert Council and opinion leaders from WHO, UICC and West European countries. By learning from the expert consensus about processes practiced by the AGO Mamma group of the German Cancer Society (Prof. Nadia Harbeck), the Italian Beast Group through Prof. Pierfranco Conte and Breast Health Global Initiative (Julie Torode UICC) Russian leaders in oncology have taken a first step on a challenging timeline to develop National Clinical Practice Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Breast Cancer.
