Six teams with BMS employees from 15 countries covered the impressive distance of 3,600 km cycling across Europe from Germany, through Switzerland, Italy, France and Spain, with the last team crossing the finish line in the U.K. on 26 September.

“This is an extraordinary achievement”, said Dr Cary Adams, CEO of the Union for International Cancer Control. “I can speak on behalf of our members and the cancer patients who will ultimately benefit from this support when I say that we are extremely thankful for this unique fundraising initiative and the continuous trust that BMS has in our work.”

Over USD 130,000 have been raised so far while online donations can still be made until the 31st of October. The money will help UICC members in delivering diverse programs to reduce the cancer burden in their respective countries, to conduct cancer research and to improve the quality of patients’ lives.
