2017 Annual Report now available

It is a pleasure to share with you the 2017 Annual Report for the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). We hope you enjoy reading about the achievements of UICC over what has been a busy and exciting year.

We concluded 2017 with continued growth and organisational development, counting 1,063 member organisations, and 50 active partners, who were all part of our journey throughout a year that saw the launch of C/Can 2025: City Cancer Challenge, the adoption of a new and landmark cancer resolution by the World Health Assembly, and an outstanding World Cancer Leaders' Summit in Mexico City.

We thank all those who volunteered their time to support us in our endeavours in 2017. We are a small team and depend heavily on the goodwill of many others to deliver a large scope of work.

2018 is already off to a strong start and preparations are well underway for the upcoming World Cancer Congress in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this 1-4 October. Also taking place in conjunction with the Congress are the World Cancer Leaders' Summit and UICC General Assembly, so it promises to be an action-packed week. We very much hope to see you n Kuala Lumpur and encourage you to register now and make the most of preferential rates and secure your place.
