Delivered in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), this Virtual Dialogue provided an overview of the Global Breast Cancer Initiative (GBCI) and included insights and learning from different countries where CSOs are working to advance its implementation through advocacy. It highlighted the role and importance of partnerships and coalitions in these efforts, and shared examples of advocacy efforts across different dimensions of breast cancer control.
The Virtual Dialogues breast cancer series aims to encourage focused discussions among the breast cancer community, and is supported by UICC’s Breast Cancer programme.
