Momentum 2026 - Accelerating Europe's action on cancer

Across Europe, world-class cancer research discoveries are being made – yet too often they take too long to reach patients. The gap between research, decision-making, and real-world impact remains one of our greatest missed opportunities.

Momentum is a conference that brings together a carefully curated group of leaders from across sectors -
policymakers, healthcare leaders, patient representatives, researchers, industry and
investors - all with a shared ambition: to accelerate Europe’s action on cancer.

Built around four system-critical acceleration tracks, developed in close collaboration with an international group of leading experts, Momentum addresses barriers in the journey from research to patient benefit. Selected speakers will offer perspectives on key issues such as accelerating clinical research, unlocking the potential of health data, improving the uptake and access to innovations, and enabling financing and scale-up.

Through curated roundtables, structured working sessions, and cross-sector dialogue, participants engage directly with the barriers to progress and co-create solutions, culminating in a synthesis of key insights and actions.

This is not passive attendance – it is active system engagement.
