Registrations are open for IARC's 60th anniversary event with UICC as a partner

The International Agency for Research on Cancer will hold its 60th Anniversary Scientific Conference in Lyon from 19–21 May 2026. Registrations are open with early-bird rates until 9 February, and abstracts may be submitted by 19 January on designated themes. Selected papers will appear in The Lancet eClinicalMedicine.

To close its 60th anniversary year, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is holding a major scientific conference from 19 to 21 May 2026 in Lyon, France. The conference will bring together leading researchers, health ministers, and experts from around the world to share cutting-edge findings and explore solutions for cancer prevention.

UICC is a proud official partner of the event. For six decades, IARC has worked hand in hand with UICC and other global partners to advance cancer research and prevention, shaping strategies, strengthening networks, and driving progress to reduce the global cancer burden.

Call for Abstracts
