Election of UICC's Board of Directors 2024-2026 on Tuesday 8 October

At UICC’s upcoming General Assembly, full members have the opportunity to vote for UICC's 2024-2026 Board of Directors from among a number of renowned candidates from the global cancer community.

During the General Assembly on Tuesday 8 October, UICC full-member organisations will elect the members of the UICC Board of Directors and the President-Elect for the next two years (2024 – 2026).

Following a thorough review of all submissions this past summer, the UICC Nominating Committee shortlisted a group of outstanding candidates with a mix of skillsets, geography, gender ,and cancer control backgrounds. The shortlist comprises 19 candidates for the 14 available Board of Director roles and two candidates for the President-elect position.

At the General Assembly, members will also receive a review of UICC’s activities since the last General Assembly and receive a presentation from our incoming President Ulrika Årehed Kågström on plans for UICC in the next couple of years.

UICC’s Board of Directors is composed of 16 voting members, including the President and the President-elect, each elected for a two-year term and eligible for re-election for two additional terms.The Board provides leadership and strategic direction for all UICC activities.
