Apply now for the World Cancer Day 2024 ‘Close the Care Gap’ Award!

The World Cancer Day 2024 Award honours UICC members who have led communication campaigns to address disparities in cancer care.

UICC is opening the call for nominations for the World Cancer Day 2024 Award, honouring outstanding contributions of UICC members leading communications campaigns to address disparities in cancer care.

The World Cancer Day Award  is open to all UICC member organisations that have successfully implemented programmes or initiatives aligned with the campaign theme, 'Close the Care Gap'.

Submissions must be made by 16 August through the online form below, with both self-nominations and peer nominations accepted.

Nominees must provide documentation of their communication campaigns, including campaign descriptions, impact assessments, and any relevant supporting materials.

An independent panel of experts will evaluate the nominations based on creativity, impact, and engagement.

The award winner will be announced and presented at the UICC World Cancer Congress 2024 in Geneva, receiving public acknowledgment of their contributions on a global platform.

The winner will also be featured in UICC communications, including  newsletters and social media posts
