Thinking Pink Breast Cancer Foundation

Our foundation’s main focus is nationwide breast cancer awareness. We raise awareness in communities, schools, universities, marketplaces, corporations and institutions. We support women with funds for their treatment options and source funds for out-of-the-country treatment as Sierra Leone lacks complete infrastructure in terms of cancer in the area of chemo and radiotherapy. We host an annual half marathon in a bid to raise the level of awareness and raise the most needed funds. We offer free breast screening on World Cancer Day and also throughout the month of October to support the financially challenged women and girls. We host an annual symposium / conference on breast cancer and bi-annually in commemoration of World Cancer Day and on International Women’s Day.
