Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCIRC) was initiated as a 152 bedded hospital and has been growing steadily ever since. Presently it is a 172 bedded hospital with an impinching need for further expansion in terms of beds and other facilities to meet the growing demand. Since the inception, the institute has proved its capability as a centre of excellence and has so far treated about 56,000 patients coming from all over North India. A large number of patients from Nepal, Bangladesh, Srilanka, and other neighboring countries are utilizing the facilities of the institute as well. The philosophy of RGCIRC is to constantly strive towards the excellence in onco-care through a combination of latest technology, competent personnel and a humane touch. They are committed to providing reliable and internationally compatible diagnostic and therapeutic services related to the field of oncology to their patients in particular & society at large. RGCIRC was accepted as a full UICC member in 2005.
