Onom Foundation

The mission of Onom Foundation is to address challenges in healthcare and education with forward looking, practical, and sustainable solutions based on breakthrough innovation and technology with an ultimate goal of making a tangible difference in lives of ordinary Mongols. Our programs in healthcare strive to bring systemic changes by mitigating early and excess mortalities among Mongols. We have initiated Hepatitis Prevention, Control and Elimination Program (HPCE, Элэг Бүтэн Монгол Хөтөлбөр) in Mongolia to address the crisis of liver cancer in Mongolia. We have other programs such as Better Hearts, Smoke Free Mongolia to address root cause of cancer and NCD. We are proud that our HPCE program has become one of the model programs for the world. We have implemented Better Hearts Better Cities-UB in collaboration with Novartis Foundation and it is currently being scaled to the global audience as CARDIO4Cities (https://www.cardio4citiesaccelerator.org). All of our projects have its research component that is collecting the evidence and improving our implementation steps.
