National Cancer Registry is the delegated agency for the collection of cancer surveillance information on behalf of the National Department of Health (NDoH). It performs the following functions: To collect, analyse and report cancer statistics in South Africa; To guide and support the Department of Health on cancer initiatives and other cancer programs from NGOs, NPOs and any other parties interested in cancer prevention, control and care in South Africa; and To inform cancer policy and guideline in South Africa
