The Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) is an international, interdisciplinary organization dedicated to the practice, education and research of supportive care in cancer.

Supportive care is the prevention and management of the adverse effects of cancer and its treatment. This includes management of physical and psychological symptoms and side effects across the continuum of the cancer journey from diagnosis through treatment to post-treatment care.

These symptoms and side effects are not only distressing to the individual, but can also influence their course of treatment. This is why supportive care make excellent cancer care possible.

MASCC was founded in 1990 and we are now proud to bring together members in over 80 countries and more than 30 disciplines. Because supportive care encompasses all aspects of care, it involves a variety of disciplines and specialists, and this diversity is reflected in our membership.

UICC is comprised of a wealth and variety of members
