Médecins du Monde France

Médecins du Monde France is a medical association of international solidarity recognized of public utility. Its mission is to treat the most vulnerable populations in situations of precariousness, crisis and exclusion throughout the world and in France. MdM France has been implementing interventions to fight cervical cancer since 2016 in France with women in precarious situations encountered on our programs, and since 2018 internationally (Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast). With the support of research organizations (CEPED, LASDEL), MdM implements innovative pilot projects for the prevention and management of precancerous cervical lesions (8,300 women have been screened). These results are obtained in coordination and complementarity with local and international actors (including the SUCCESS project). Relying on the data produced, we are able to advocate toward decision-makers at the national and international levels (participation in the WHO's technical group on cervical cancer in particular), from a global SRHR perspective.
