Liga Moçambicana Contra o Cancro (LCCM)

The Liga Moçambicana Contra o Cancro (LCCM) is a Mozambican non-profit civil society organisation dedicated to cancer prevention, early detection, patient support, public health advocacy, institutional strengthening and evidence-informed cancer control. LCCM works in alignment with Mozambique’s National Cancer Control Plan 2019–2029 through community awareness campaigns, screening support initiatives, psychosocial support for cancer patients, capacity-building activities, policy advocacy and partnerships with health institutions, academic actors and international organisations. The organisation also promotes data-driven approaches, programme monitoring and community mobilisation to strengthen the national response to cancer in resource-limited settings.
