Jordan Cancer Society

In 2024, the Jordan Cancer Society celebrates its 60th anniversary. The Society was founded in 1964 by a patriotic group with a common interest in fighting cancer. For many years, the society was headed by Jordan's late King Al Hussein as its honorary president.The society has been involved in cancer prevention and raising awareness among the Jordan population, providing support and care to cancer patients and their families. The main mandate and role of the Society are to prevent cancer among the Jordan population and provide whatever possible assistance to cancer patients and their families by supporting them and backing them up in their journey fighting the disease.
