Japan Federation of Cancer Patient Groups

As a federated organisation of cancer patient groups, we are aiming to promote cooperation and collaboration among member groups to solve problems cancer patients and their families confront in their treatment, care, and everyday lives, as well as to contribute to the improvement of cancer care and the building of a society in which people touched by cancer can live without fear. For that purpose, we are engaged in the following necessary activities: (1) Making policy proposals to resolve issues in the treatment, care, and lives of cancer patients and their families (2) Conducting research and surveys to resolve issues in the treatment, care and lives of cancer patients and their families (3) Raising awareness to resolve issues in the treatment, care and lives of cancer patients and their families (4) Promoting self-help and mutual aid for cancer patients and their families (5) Promoting cooperation and collaboration of cancer patient groups (6) Publicising and advertising the activities of our organisation (7) Strengthening and stabilising the finances of our organisation (8) Any other projects necessary to achieve the purpose of our organisation
