Fundação do Câncer, Brazil

Fundação do Câncer was founded in collaboration with the National Institute of Cancer of Brazil to further the development of activities geared towards the fight against cancer. The foundation is also involved in basic and applied research and supports the sponsorship of technological development in health, bioengineering, administrative, and operational techniques. The foundation promotes scientific events including congresses, courses, symposiums. Fundação do Câncer became a member of UICC in may 2008.
