FUCAM, A.C.

FUCAM, A.C. is an NGO offering integral breast cancer care which mainly includes providing and promoting information and awareness on the importance of early detection, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation, primarily for the most vulnerable and low-income groups amongst Mexican women. Services we provide in our own hospital unit are mammogram screenings in situ and in mobile units, complementary and diagnosis ultrasounds and stereotaxis, surgery, chemotherapy, external and internal radiotherapy, lymphedema therapy, nutritional support, dental care for patients during chemotherapy, nuclear medicine, pathology laboratory, hormonotherapy, reconstructive breast surgery, bone densitometry, pap test, psychological treatment for patients and their families and emotional support workshops. We also train and qualify specialist physicians in breast radiology, treatment, research and rehabilitation with certification given by the UNAM, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
