Cancer Warriors de México, A.C.

Cancer Warriors of Mexico is a non-profit organisation focused on improving the quality of life of patients diagnosed with cancer in our country through the concept of patients’ advocacy. Our current programmes are: 1. Drafting and presentations of bills, legal reforms and proposals of public policies focused on improving the quality of life of patients diagnosed with cancer in Mexico; 2. Organisation of forums and conferences to expose challenges and opportunities in terms of specific topics of the health sector in our country; 3. Providing custom-made prosthetics to patients who have been amputated due to osteosarcoma (bone cancer) through our programme “Standing Warriors”; 4. Participation in international forums representing Mexico with the objective of gathering information on advanced treatment and public policies applied in other countries and share such information in Mexico; 5. Organisation of recreational and sports activities for cancer patients and their families.
