Asociación Nacional Contra el Cáncer

Asociación Nacional Contra el Cáncer (ANCEC) is a charitable non-profit organization composed of volunteers engaged in a public education campaign and early diagnosis of disease. The ANCEC, was founded in 1970 by merging the National League Against Cancer (1960) and the National Association for the Prevention of Cancer in Women (1965). The association was registered on October 18, 1971. The headquarters operates in the city of Panama and its chapters throughout the country. ANCEC currently operates with a headquarters, nine chapters, eleven sub-chapters, and provides services through four clinical screening nationwide. In 1972, Asociación Nacional Contra el Cáncer became full UICC member.
