The World Cancer Leaders' Summit will be hosted by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), the American Cancer Society (ACS), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), MD Anderson Cancer Center and Stand Up To Cancer.
The Summit is held in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The event is open to CEOs of UICC full members, UICC partners and select leaders from the global health and cancer communities.
This event is by invitation only (the invite is non-transferable) and without registration fees.
The theme of the WCLS 2023 is "Cancer Control in a Changing World".
The current international situation requires collective solutions for pressing global questions and challenges. As global cancer leaders, leading change is not just reacting to new realities, but problem-solving challenges and harnessing new opportunities.
This is why global influencers and leaders in cancer control, as well as public health representatives from around the world working in government and non-government agencies, academia, non-profit organisations and the private sector will join for this next important cancer control policies Summit.
