JCO Global Oncology Collection: Call for papers
In the last decade, UICC has launched a series of initiatives to encourage early detection and improve access to treatment and care.
UICC is delighted to announce a call for papers on driving innovation to advance cancer control equitably, the theme of the 2021 Summit. These papers will form a special collection in the JCO Global Oncology that will be released at the 2022 World Cancer Congress in Geneva (17-20 October).
We are looking for original reports, review articles and commentaries that address the following:
- The potential impact of innovation in oncology
- Identify the critical actions towards improving equitable access to innovation
- Assess the transformative potential for innovation
- Examine impact measures and how an innovation can be assessed
Topics can include:
- Cancer prevention
- Surveillance
- Digital health
- Early detection and diagnosis
- Cancer therapies
- Palliative care
- Survivorship
- Economic and social perspectives
- Patient perspectives on innovation
The deadline for expressions of interest is 3 December. Interested authors should contact the JCO Global Oncology Editorial Office at jcogo@asco.org.
