PAHO/WHO World Cancer Day Webinar: Breast Cancer

On Tuesday 3 February 2015, PAHO/WHO hosted a combined live seminar and remote webinar on screening and early detection of breast cancer in Latin America to commemorate World Cancer Day. The webinar recordings are available in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.

HGEI Director Felicia Knaul, PhD, presented “Closing the Breast Cancer Divide: The case for investing in breast cancer screening.” Other presenters included Dr. Maira Caleffi, FEMAMA Director, on community mobilization; and Dr. Ben Anderson, BHGI Chair & Director, on the scientific evidence on breast cancer screening.
