Bristol Myers Squibb’s C2C4C Latin America cycling event concludes the 2025 effort in support of UICC members

Bristol Myers Squibb’s 2025 C2C4C Latin America ride ended on 9 December, wrapping up its C2C4C events, which included more than 300 Bristol Myers Squibb employees from 33 countries, each cycling nearly 360 kilometres. Bristol Myers Squibb is projected to donate over USD 2 million worldwide through the C2C4C events.

The 2025 Continent 2 Continent 4 Cancer (C2C4C) Latin America ride concluded on 9 December, marking the end of this year’s series of employee fundraising rides organised by Bristol Myers Squibb in support of cancer organisations worldwide. The Latin America ride, held from 1 to 9 December, followed earlier events in Europe and Japan, to support UICC member organisations in the region.

The 2025 C2C4C programme began in Europe on 5 September, followed by the Japan ride from 7-20 October. Across all international regions, including the United States, more than 300 Bristol Myers Squibb employees from 33 countries cycled approximately 360 kilometres each over three days.

Collectively, the four events are projected to raise over USD 2 million globally. Fundraising for C2C4C Latin America remains open until 23 December.

This will have a real impact for people living with cancer, through the work of UICC members to improve cancer outcomes through early detection, clinical care, public education, and advocacy. Many focus on engaging people with lived experience of cancer, ensuring that care is not only medically effective but also responsive to the emotional, social, and practical needs of people affected by cancer.

“We are grateful to Bristol Myers Squibb for their continued partnership and commitment to cancer control. The C2C4C rides provide concrete support to our member organisations, helping them deliver more people-centred care and engage those with lived experience in meaningful ways. This initiative is a powerful example of how corporate partnerships can contribute to better outcomes for people affected by cancer.”
Cary Adams, CEO of UICC.

Now in its twelfth year, the C2C4C initiative has become a meaningful tradition for Bristol Myers Squibb and its employees. Since its inception in the United States in 2014, the programme has expanded to Europe (2016), Japan (2021) and Latin America (2022), raising more than USD 21 million globally.
