Shabwah Cancer Control Foundation

Shabwah Cancer Control Foundation (SCCF), is a non-governmental, non-profit humanitarian foundation established in August 2021. We are the main supporting body for the National Oncology Center in Shabwah and work across multiple sectors to reduce the burden of cancer. Our efforts include:Health services: providing chemotherapy drugs, facilitating surgical operations, and organizing visiting oncologists’ programs.Patient support: offering direct financial aid, travel assistance (inside and outside Yemen), and accommodation for patients and their families.Awareness and education: leading large-scale campaigns such as breast cancer awareness (Pink October), anti-smoking initiatives, and community health education.Food security & psychosocial support: distributing food baskets and providing psychological support sessions.Capacity building & volunteering: empowering local volunteers, training health workers, and strengthening institutional partnerships.Through these activities, we strive to enhance cancer prevention, improve early detection, and support patients throughout their treatment journey.
