Global Network Membership (GNM)

UICC launched in 2010 the Global Network Membership (GNM) initiative to give a wider spectrum of cancer organisations the opportunity to be involved in the three priority areas of global cancer control:

  • Advocacy
  • Convening
  • Programmes

Although the GNM is no longer available, it offers members with affiliate organisations covered by this initiative, the opportunity to take part in exceptional events in the international arena. For example, the UN High-level Meeting on Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs) and the re-draft of the Millennium Development Goals.
