The next World Cancer Leaders' Summit will be hosted by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) from Monday 25th to Tuesday 26th October 2021 in Boston, MA, USA.
The Summit will be held in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Global influencers and leaders in cancer control and public health from around the world and from across governments, UN agencies, academia, non-profit organisations and private sectors will convene in order to explore how the cancer community works with and encourages governments to invest in cancer control and be innovative in their approach so they can better understand their cancer burden, improve prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer.
Several key questions will be addressed, such as the nature of the current innovations along the continuum of cancer control (with particular regard to learnings from the Covid-19 pandemic), how they can be assessed in different national contexts, and what needs to be considered when implementing innovative policies, practices and technologies from a health systems perspective.
The event is open to UICC full members, partners and select leaders from the global health and cancer communities, by invitation only and without registration fees.
If you have any questions on full membership (in order to receive an invitation to the Summit), please contact email@example.com
