Report on the Social Determinants of Health

This report provides an in-depth look at how health inequity can be addressed through advocacy and action. It analyses a number of social determinants that create inequities between populations and how they can lead to poorer health outcomes.

Originally published in April 2021, the report was updated in January 2022 with examples of actions taking place around
the world to improve equity and close the gap in cancer care.
