West Coast to East Coast by Whike

In 2010, Record Go Rent a Car's Human Resources manager, Jose Luis Esquer rode a tandem from Norway to Spain, and this year Jose Luis Esquer will ride a whike, which is a recumbent bicycle with a sail across the USA.

'USA by Whike' will take place in May this year, starting in Los Angeles and finishing in New York, Esquer will cross at least 13 states and over 5,500 kilometres.

All money raised will go towards fighting cancer. For every kilometre, sponsors Adecco and Rio Tinto will contribute money to both UICC and the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).

Jose Luis Esquer is a 45 year old from Spain who wants to show through this challenge, that anyone can do extraordinary things and that we can use the power that we have to make a big difference. He has set out to nurture a supportive and inpirational culture within his organisation and wants to motivate those around him.
