UICC at the World Medical Innovation Forum
The CEO of UICC, Cary Adams, will be attending the World Medical Innovation Forum taking place from 25 to 27 April in Boston, Massachusetts.
The World Medical Innovation Forum is a global gathering of more than 1,100 health care leaders hosted by Partners HealthCare from 25 to 27 April, 2016 in Boston. It was established to highlight the newest technologies, significant unmet needs and the evolving models of delivering care for the most complex diseases. The Forum is rooted in the belief that the center of health care needs to be a shared, fundamental commitment to collaborative innovation – industry and academia working together and its ability to improve patient lives.
The 2016 Forum will highlight state-of-the-art and emerging approaches to diagnose, treat and manage cancer including immunotherapy, epigenetics, checkpoint inhibitors, cell based therapies, combination therapies, OUS economics, pipeline strategy, oncology venture investing among other topics. In addition to examining the cutting-edge opportunities and needs in the field, the Forum will feature presentations from emerging cancer investigators, the Discovery Cafe with international clinical and research thought leaders, an extensive networking track, and the “Disruptive Dozen”—12 emerging technologies with the potential to revolutionise the cancer care during the next decade.
