Header Paragraph

Join UICC staff and individuals from around the world on the World Cancer Day Live page for a full day of live and exclusive events on 4th February aimed at raising awareness, improving education, fighting stigma and inspiring action to reduce the impact of cancer – in the engaging and positive spirit of the campaign theme “I Am and I Will”.

The live broadcast programme starts at 9am Central European Time (find your local time here) kicking off broadcasts every half-hour across 12 hours, with experts from different regions providing insight into topics such as talking to young people about cancer, air quality and cancer, or the future of cancer treatment and why we should have hope.

You will also be able to unwind with a yoga session, listen to on-topic book readings, get a behind-the-scenes look of a cancer research lab and a cervical cancer screening site, and watch live music performances, including from a South African songwriter singing about his personal experience with cancer and a chat with cancer survivor and the lead singer of The Alarm, Mike Peters.
