ISNCC 2018 Board of Directors Nominations

The ISNCC Nominations and Awards Committee is seeking input for the 2018 ISNCC Board of Directors election. In 2018, three Board of Director Portfolio positions are open for election.

Nominators must be a member of a national cancer nursing society in his/her country or, if no cancer nursing society in that country, a member of a national nursing society, or regional / international oncology nursing society (e.g. EONS, AONS, ISNCC), and working in the field of cancer nursing. Self-nominations are eligible.

Official voting on the nominated directors will take place after the nominations deadline by full members of ISNCC. These positions will commence on July 1st, 2018.

Board of Directors Open Portfolio Positions

All ISNCC members may nominate an individual

Corporate & Philanthropic Development Portfolio – The purpose of the Corporate and Philanthropic Development Committee is to seek opportunities that will bring grants, donations or other revenue sources and potential long-term partnerships to support the work of the International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care.

Knowledge Development & Dissemination Portfolio – The purpose of the Knowledge Development and Dissemination Committee is to support international organizations by acting as a valuable international resource of cancer nurses to advise them on cancer nursing and the nurse's role in cancer care; serve as a link for other international, regional, national and local organizations in promoting collaboration to achieve ISNCC's goals; and, ensure optimal education and practice opportunities through ISNCC in a culturally sensitive way.

Member Development Portfolio - The purpose of the Member Development Committee is to recruit and retain membership in order to establish communication with oncology nurses throughout the world.

Directors shall serve for a period of four years and shall be eligible to be elected for one additional consecutive term.
