Extended deadlines for World Cancer Congress

UICC has extended the deadlines for early bird registration and submitting abstracts for the World Cancer Congress, taking place in Oman on 20-22 October.

The new deadline for submitting abstracts is 8 May. The new deadline to benefit from the early bird registration fee is 29 May.

These decisions have been made following the rapid developments related to the coronavirus pandemic. The World Cancer Congress is still scheduled to take place as planned. However, UICC is closely monitoring the situation and will make further adjustments if and when they become necessary.

Call for Abstracts – New deadline: 8 May

UICC’s World Cancer Congress is a unique opportunity to play an active role in the programme and showcase work related to advocacy, fundraising, science or research on any aspect of cancer control. Selected abstracts will be presented to an expected audience of 3,500 participants from 130 countries, representing a wide range of actors in global health.

UICC members are eligible for an award nomination. Read more here.
