2015 UICC Workshop Programme Call for Proposals now open

The Global Education and Training team at UICC is pleased to announce the call for proposals for the 2015 UICC Workshop Grants.

The application deadline is 1st March 2015.

Last year, six grants were awarded and workshops took place in Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Sudan and Uganda. We hope the programme will be equally geographically diverse and successful this year!

WHAT

Training workshops funded by UICC Workshops Programme
Award value of up to USD 30,000

AIMS

To facilitate capacity building in low- and middle-income countries in alignment with World Cancer Declaration targets.

WHO

Qualified cancer professionals working in official bodies, cancer institutes, professional associations, clinics, or hospitals in low- and middle-income countries.

TOPICS

Projects should have strong linkage with UICC priority areas and World Cancer Declaration targets.
Preference will be given to projects focusing on cancer policy, cervical cancer, palliative care, paediatric oncology, and registry development.
