Advancing breast cancer treatment and care in resource-limited settings – Workshop report

On the occasion of the 2024 World Cancer Congress, UICC and WHO's Global Breast Cancer Initiative (GBCI) hosted a workshop to explore ways to advance treatment and care for breast cancer in resource-limited settings. 

The workshop focused on how civil society and other key stakeholders in breast cancer can progress efforts towards the target for the third pillar of GBCI of at least 80% of patients completing multidisciplinary treatment, without treatment abandonment.
