Ministry of Health - Turkey

The Ministry of Health-Turkey does not just focus on cancer but also on all of the country's main diseases and health problems. In general they focus on living a healthy lifestyle and preventing all diseases including cancer. Cancer registry (collecting and analyzing data), conducting epidemiological studies, forming the cancer control policies and national programme of Turkey on behalf of the Ministry of Health, exercising prevention and screening programmes via cancer early diagnosis and screening centers and setting up treatment protocols for different types of cancers including palliative care... In April of 2009, the Ministry of Health-Turkey became associate UICC member.
