International Institute for Legislative Affairs

International Institute for Legislative Affairs (IILA) is involved in NCDs prevention and control, through a focus on the modifiable risk factors, i.e., tobacco consumption, harmful consumption of alcohol and consumption of unhealthy diets (sugar -sweetened beverages (SSBs) and industrially trans-fatty acids (TFA)). These risk factors contribute greatly to a variety of cancers, hence our policy research and advocacy efforts advance cancer prevention and control interventions in Kenya. IILA is registered in Kenya as a company limited by guarantee without share capital. The Organization is governed by board of Directors.
