Fondation Sylvia Bongo Ondimba"Action against Cancer" project is one of our top priorities. Since 2013, the Sylvia Bongo Ondimba Foundation has been committed to fighting against cancer in Gabon, breast and cervical cancers in particular, its ambition being to make Gabon a centre of excellence for the management and fight against cancers in Central Africa. The Foundation's objective is to reduce incidence and mortality rates of the most common women's cancers. This vision has been developed into a strategy for combating cancers based on 3 pillars: prevention, treatment and support. Key works takes place around early detection of breast and cervical cancer and over 23 600 women have been screened up until the end of 2015.
