Fiji Islands Ministry of Health and Medical Services

The Ministry of Health and Medical Services is the majority provider of oncology services to the whole population of Fiji (limited private facilities). The Ministry also coordinates the national cancer registry, programmes for cancer screening and early detection, diagnosis & treatment and emerging palliative care. A National Cancer Control Plan is being developed. MoHMS coordinates with several stakeholders domestic and international to coordinate cancer control and offers these services to the wider south Pacific islands region.
