Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services (CBCHS)

The CBCHS has over 80 health facilities in the country, with 7 hospitals. Our hospitals treat breast, cervical cancer as well as do Cervical and breast cancer screening and awareness raising. One of CBCHS hospitals serve as the main diagnostic and treatment center for all other cancers. Meanwhile, three are actively involved in Childhood Cancer diagnosis, care and treatment. Within the Non Communicable Diseases Prevention and Control program (NCDPCP) context, there is general awareness creation and risk factor assessment and counseling provided to apparently healthy individuals as an upstream measure to Cancer control. This is in addition to policy advocacy, research and surveillance that the program carries out.
