Associazione Tumori Toracici Rari – TUTOR is an association of volunteers, family members, and patients that provides practical support and advocates for individuals affected by rare thoracic tumours, such as thymic tumours (including thymoma and thymic carcinoma) and pleural mesothelioma.

The organisation provides information on:

  • the condition / the disease,

  • centres of expertise,

  • active clinical trials.

Associazione Tumori Toracici Rari – TUTOR organises:

  • Free monthly online meetings where patients and their families can connect, share information, and exchange experiences.

  • Free webinars with doctors who are experts in rare thoracic tumours, to support knowledge-sharing and patient engagement.

  • Free online consultations with a range of professionals, including a psycho-oncologist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, dietitian, social worker, and peer supporter.

TUTOR actively collaborates with, and is a member of, key clinical and scientific communities focused on these conditions (TYME, MET.I, and EURACAN ERN).

It also promotes and funds research on thymic tumours and mesothelioma.
