Américas Amigas

Founded in 2009, Américas Amigas is an NGO that works for decreasing the high rate of mortality of breast cancer in Brazil by promoting early detection and diagnosis by means of its 4 main programs: “Donation of Mammogram Machines and other Equipment”; “Donation of Training and Capacitation to Breast Cancer Professionals”; “Donation of Mammograms for Women in Need” and “Information and Awareness Campaigns”. The Association programs have benefited the Brazilian women, especially in the low-income population.
